Our herbal teas, also known as tisanes, are not made from the traditional tea plant. Traditional teas - white, green, and black teas all come from one plant, Camellia sinensis. The way the tea leaves are processed determines the final product. When the Camellia sinensis leaves are harvested in the spring, the tea leaf buds are used for white tea. The remaining tea leaves are oxidized or fermented. Green tea leaves are lightly fermented and therefore have more nutrients than the next level of fermentation, black tea. Camellia sinensis contains tannins, and caffeine. Most tea plants are grown in China, India, and Sri Lanka. Many people enjoy the taste and benefits of traditional teas.
Herbal Teas are created from a variety of herbs, using their flowers, leaves, stems, and roots.. They are free of GMO's, caffeine, gluten,or additives, ensuring nothing but the pure goodness of the herbs is delivered to you. Herbs are grown abundantly all over the world. Herbs do not contain tannins or caffeine and nothing is added to our herbal blends. Our herbs are grown in South Africa, Australia, Europe, and the United States.
